My Qualifications

I trained as an acupuncturist in the United Kingdom and have been practising acupuncture for over 8 years. I originally qualified as a Mental Health Nurse and this background has enabled me to develop particular skills in the treatment of anxiety states and depression with acupuncture.

I have professional registration/membership with the New Zealand Register of Acupuncturists (NZRA) which entitles me to carry the letters MNZRA after my name .

The New Zealand Register of Acupuncturists represents professional acupuncturists who have an extensive training in acupuncture and the biomedical sciences appropriate to the practice of this therapy.

We practise a recognised and traditional style of diagnosis and treatment therapy. This has been developed and refined over 2000 years and provides patients with an holistic approach to maintaining health and managing illness.

The NZRA maintains common standards of education, ethics, discipline and practice to ensure the health and safety of the public at all times.

Members of the NZRA are registered ACC providers.
